Crop fields in the last 4 years have increased by around 50 000 hectares.
The Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan met with the journalists and summarized the results of the last 7 months in agriculture field. The Minister of Agriculture ensured that there is growth in every field.
According to him besides the state support projects various other factors promoted the economic growth. Sergo Karapetyan especially mentioned the importance of low percentage loans for farmers.
Crop fields in the last 4 years have increased by around 50 000 hectares. This tendency continued this year as well. Only in 2015, 18 000 hectares of additional land was cultivated, gardens, vegetable crops, also potato, fodder and grain crops fields were added.
