The repair works of one of the masterpieces of Armenia architecture, Vorotnavank, continue. To repair the extraordinary construction evaluated by the experts funds are given from the budget for already several years.

The monastery complex built on the Vorotan canyon heights is dated back to the 10-11th centuries. It was founded by the queen of SyunikShahandukht and her son Sevada prince. Vorotnavank was destroyed during the 1931 earthquake.
