The international responses related to downing of the Armenian helicopter by Azerbaijan are going on. International community mainly joins the statement of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs, expressing concern that the Azerbaijani step may destabilize the situation in the region.
Spokesperson for the United States Department of State Jen Psaki has particularly stated, “We are aware of the reports and we regret the loss of life as a result of yesterday’s downing of the helicopter along the line of contact. We extend our condolences to the families of those killed or injured.
This event is yet another reminder of the need to redouble efforts on peaceful resolution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, including reducing tension and respecting the ceasefire.”
