The assembly of bishops of the Armenian Apostolic Church resumed the works at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The regular meeting launched with the blessing of the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I.
Referring to the importance of the assembly, His Holiness singled out the range of the issues, which were to be discussed in favor of strengthening of the mission of the church.
Referring to the Armenian Genocide centenary, Catholicos Aram I stressed the importance of making the world know about the Armenian cause in the format of one nation, one church.
