The first visit of the Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic to Armenia is symbolic. It is marking the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Pointing out the many similarities between the Armenian and Serbian people President Nikolic stressed that the two nations closely share the same destiny, historical hardships, and tragedies, the striving for keeping their civilizations.
The Serbian President believes it is important to pursue the traditions in modern changed world. This is what unites the friendly nations.
