The sixth fall session of Armenia’s National Assembly fifth convention started with tough agenda. The session’s agenda draft decision includes 145 issues and 25 international agreements. In four-days period 23 legislative initiatives will be discussed, with positive conclusions by the parliamentarians. At the start of the setting the representatives of ANC, PAP and Heritage factions stated they did not trust the acting manner of the Ad-Hoc Counting Committee of the National Assembly. Thus they boycotted the work of the Committee and said they were not going to further have representatices within the Committee
Nevertheless, the NA adopted the order of forming an Ad-Hoc Counting Committee, and according to it the RPA will have 7, the PAP2 members, and the other factions one per each.
At the start the vice-spokesperson announced that the National Assembly had created a special account to which the parliamentarians would conduct transfers to help the Yezidis of Iraq.
The news on “hot political season start” is perhaps exaggerated. The opposition did not touch upon the 12-articled demand list presented to the authorities by the opposition. The emigration was also discussed, though it was not included in 12-articled demand list.
