On September 4, Ambassador Ara Margarian met with Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, Deputy Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
The interlocutors discussed the Armenia–Lithuania bilateral agenda and noted with satisfaction the current level of cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador Margarian also presented the events and initiatives being organized by the Embassy in the framework of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Lithuania.
The sides exchanged views on ways to enhance interparliamentary cooperation, as well as on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
