Reuters. U.S. Vice President JD Vance told Fox News on Monday (June 15) that U.S. President Donald Trump may decide to release Washington's agreement with Tehran before Friday (June 19).
The agreement, which was electronically signed by leaders in the U.S. and Iran, is expected to be signed in person on Friday.
Vance said the deal would involve no direct U.S. funding, with any investment coming from other countries if Iran complies.
He also responded to comments by former President Barack Obama, saying Gulf Arab states support the new agreement and oppose the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
