As part of our Freedom 250 celebrations, U.S. Embassy Yerevan is excited to welcome U.S. Sports Envoys and Paralympic gold medalists Rose Hollermann and Steve Serio to Armenia, US Embassy to Armenia reports.
"Rose Hollermann is a four-time Paralympian and multi-medalist for Team USA, known for inspiring young athletes through her journey in adaptive sports.
Steve Serio is a five-time Paralympian, three-time gold medalist, and Team USA’s flag bearer at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
In Yerevan and Gyumri, Rose and Steve will lead masterclasses, skills workshops, and community events with Armenian youth and athletes with disabilities — celebrating sports as a powerful tool for confidence, inclusion, and opportunity.
We look forward to seeing you at Freedom Square on June 17 for a masterclass at 16:00 and a wheelchair basketball demonstration game at 17:00!
