We managed to sign a document through which we elevated the level of our relations, Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during a joint press conference with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys.
“From this moment on, Armenia and Lithuania are strategic partners. This is a format that will allow us to further deepen both our political dialogue and cooperation, while also taking a more comprehensive approach to sectoral cooperation,” he said.
The Minister also noted that the sides discussed prospects for economic cooperation, particularly in the fields of information technology, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. There are areas where Lithuania has extensive experience, as well as areas where Armenia possesses certain expertise and knowledge, therefore the sides agreed to be useful to one another.
Ararat Mirzoyan also stated that Armenia is grateful to its Lithuanian partners for the strong support provided in deepening Armenia-EU relations.
