Campaigning officially began on May 8 for Armenia’s parliamentary elections scheduled for June 7, with 19 political forces entering the race, including 17 parties and two alliances.

Political parties must pass a 4 percent threshold to enter parliament, while alliances are required to secure at least 8 percent of the vote.
The election campaign will continue until June 6. June 6, the day before the vote, will be observed as a day of silence ahead of the June 7 parliamentary elections.
