On May 6, in Yerevan, during an Armenian-Azerbaijani media-expert roundtable discussion organized by the Armenian Council, regional political developments, security challenges, and the possibilities for dialogue were addressed, the Armenian Council reported.
From the Armenian side, a number of representatives of the expert and media community participated, while from the Azerbaijani side, experts Farhad Mammadov, Zaur Shiriyev, and Rusif Huseynov took part.
An active discussion took place in a format of exchange of views and questions and answers, during which participants presented the perceptions of the two societies regarding the political processes taking place in the South Caucasus. Both sides emphasized the importance of building trust, unblocking communication routes, and ensuring the continuity of expert dialogue.
The Council noted that the meeting was held in an open and constructive atmosphere, with many participants emphasizing the significance of such discussions in the peace process.
