Guterres “called on all parties to the conflict in the Middle East to fulfill their obligations under international law and adhere to the ceasefire in order to pave the way for a lasting and comprehensive peace in the region.”
Egypt’s Foreign Ministry said that Egypt, along with Pakistan and Turkey, would continue its efforts “to strengthen security and stability in the region.” Cairo also said that talks between the US and Iran “must take into account the legitimate security interests of the Gulf states.”
