Russian specialists can quickly restore sections of Armenia’s railways to establish connections with neighboring countries, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk said.
According to him, the Armenian government’s request has been reviewed at the highest level in Russia and has received a positive response.
Overchuk noted that a Russian delegation recently returned from Yerevan, where discussions were held on attracting funding and the terms of repayment for restoring those railway sections. According to Russian experts, the restoration of these short segments constitutes a commercially viable project.
