Israel continues to strike key figures in Iran’s ruling forces. According to media reports, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Aerospace Forces, Mehdi Qureshi, was killed in the strikes in Isfahan.
The Israel Defense Forces announced that Ali Mohammad Naini, the spokesman and head of public relations for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was killed in overnight strikes on Iran. This came minutes after he gave a press release in which he stated that missile production was continuing regardless of military operations.
Iran’s Tasnim news agency also confirmed the deaths of General Esmail Ahmadi, the head of the Basij intelligence agency, and three others in airstrikes carried out by the US and Israel yesterday.
An explosion at a checkpoint in the city of Tabriz also killed 13 Basij fighters and injured 18.
According to another report, a massive attack was also carried out on the headquarters of the Thar-Allah unit of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the eastern Iranian city of Kerman.
