Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has criticized US President Trump’s actions, claiming that his approach to nuclear talks with the Islamic Republic is wrong and destructive. Araghchi stressed that “when complex nuclear negotiations are treated like real estate deals and big lies obscure reality, unrealistic expectations are never met.”
He also noted that this approach has resulted in the negotiation table being blown up in retaliation. He argued that Trump has betrayed not only diplomacy but also the Americans who elected him by denying the possibility of a peaceful resolution to the conflict with Iran.
