Since the 1990s, there have been places where Azerbaijanis are in our sovereign territory, there have been places where we are in their sovereign territory. That is why we say that we need to delimitate and demarcate the border. Vahagn Aleksanyan, a deputy of the Civil Contract faction, said this during a parliamentary briefing, referring to the border delimitation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“There will be delimitation along the entire border. We are interested that it starts as soon as possible. In other words, this issue is being discussed by the interdepartmental commissions of the two states,” he said, adding that they will do everything to start the process as soon as possible.
