According to Interfax, a missile alert was declared in at least 11 Russian regions on the afternoon of February 27. In some of them, the Perm Territory, the Sverdlovsk Region and Tatarstan, the alert was sounded for the first time since the start of the large-scale Russian-Ukrainian war.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that on the night of February 21, Ukrainian forces launched a "Flamingo" missile strike on the Votkinsk plant in Udmurtia, where Russian "Yars", "Bulava" and "Iskander" ballistic missiles are produced.
