On 26 February 2026, Ambassador Ara Margarian met with Remigijus Motuzas, Chair of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.
The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, as well as opportunities for further deepening cooperation. Both sides emphasized the importance of parliamentary diplomacy and the active cooperation established between the legislative bodies of the two countries.
Ambassador Margarian presented the latest developments in the South Caucasus, including ongoing efforts aimed at the institutionalization of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the regional opportunities arising from the implementation of the “TRIPP Route” project.
The parties also discussed steps undertaken towards deepening the Armenia–EU partnership and Armenia’s European aspirations.
Ambassador Margarian highly appreciated Lithuania’s support to Armenia in this process.
