Today, CEO Gohar Abajyan led discussions with the French business delegation headed by Gauthier RICORD, Chairman of the France-Armenia Business Council of MEDEF International.
Framing Armenia’s strategic transformation and the economic logic of deeper regional integration, she noted:
“Armenian is at crossroads. But geography becomes an advantage when connections are resilient. In Armenia, peace and stability are not abstract goals, they are economic assets. Through the Crossroads of Peace initiative and the TRIPP route, we are strengthening multimodal connections across the Black Sea, Caspian region, and the Gulf. With the peace in place now Armenia is entering a new economic phase with deeper regional integration and enhanced infrastructure and I invite you to share this momentum together.”
The dialogue focused on regional connectivity and practical cooperation, with emphasis on multimodal transport corridors, infrastructure, mobility, industrial partnerships, and predictable frameworks for French companies exploring Armenia.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Enterprise Armenia and MEDEF International, establishing a structured platform for coordinated investment facilitation, direct business engagement, joint project development, and institutional support in both markets.
The agreement marks a shift toward implementation, measurable outcomes, and strengthened company-level interaction.
Anna Hovhannisyan, Investment Promotion and Foreign Relations Manager at Enterprise Armenia, presented Armenia’s investment environment and priority sectors, outlining concrete entry pathways for French investors.
This MoU reinforces an operational channel between Armenian and French businesses anchored in connectivity, infrastructure development, and cross-border commercial projects.
