According to Telegram channels, on the morning of February 25, the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck Crimea.
As a result of the strike, a Russian Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile and anti-aircraft artillery system was destroyed, and the S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile system sustained serious damage.
According to reports, the strike occurred near the village of Sofiivka, between Simferopol and the village of Hvardiiske. Loud explosions were heard there overnight. The Russian side assumes that the drones heading toward Sevastopol were launched from the Odesa region, as the distance from Odesa to Crimea is very short.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has not commented on the report and has not announced any losses. It only stated on February 25 that Russia’s air defense forces had destroyed 18 unmanned aerial vehicles in the skies over Crimea and three more over the Black Sea.
