"Today the world marks International Mother Language Day. It was proclaimed by UNESCO and has been celebrated annually since 21 February 2000. Since 2005, it has also been celebrated in Armenia. Armenian is one of the world's most ancient languages, and I am delighted to extend my heartfelt congratulations to us all on this wonderful occasion and delighted to share excerpts from a poem by Hamo Sahyan," Maragos stated reciting excerpts from Hamo Sahyan's poem 'Spring Comes in Armenian'.
