Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in the inaugural session of the Board of Peace in Washington.
The event was attended by heads of state, prime ministers and foreign ministers of the states that have joined the Board. The session was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.
In his speech, US President Donald Trump, referring to various international conflicts, also spoke about the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, noting that after a 32-year conflict, the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan have done significant work towards establishing peace. The US President thanked the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan for the work done, emphasizing the importance of the achieved results.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had brief talks with colleagues from a number of countries within the framework of the session.
The Gaza peace plan and the steps planned for the future were also presented during the session.
