US President Donald Trump has warned Vladimir Zelensky that he will miss an opportunity for peace if he is not moving toward the conflict settlement.
"Zelensky is going to have to get moving. Russia wants to make a deal, and Zelensky is going to have to get moving, otherwise he's going to miss a great opportunity. He has to move," he said.
In order to stop the war, Moscow demands that Ukrainian troops be withdrawn from Donbass, including from territories not under Russian control. Kyiv has called this demand unacceptable, but Zelensky does not rule out holding a referendum on the territorial issue.
Volodymyr Zelensky also made statements during the Munich Security Conference. Responding to a journalist's question about the need for concessions, the Ukrainian President noted that there are some signals from the American side.
