“We are satisfied with the current state of our relations,” the European Union’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Marijana Kujundžić, said.
“Of course, there is always room to strive for better, but overall our cooperation is developing successfully, and we are ready to work with Azerbaijan,” the ambassador said.
According to her, among the main areas of cooperation in 2026, alongside traditional cultural and educational events, connectivity occupies a special place.
“Connectivity covers energy, the digital sphere, railways, highways, and other areas. What I have mentioned is a very important concept for today and for the future,” she noted.
The ambassador also said that events such as “Education in Europe,” “European Flavors,” and “European Village” implemented by the EU in Azerbaijan are being planned, adding that the next major event will be held on February 13 in Nakhijevan within the framework of the regional program Covenant of Mayors.
