The meeting of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan with the President of the United Arab Emirates Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan took place in Abu Dhabi.
The latter once again congratulated the Prime Minister on the establishment of peace with Azerbaijan and expressed confidence that the new opportunities created as a result of this will allow for the formation of a new level of cooperation in the region. The President of the UAE emphasized that his country is ready to deepen and expand ties with Armenia in various fields.
Prime Minister Pashinyan expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality, adding that the Government of the Republic of Armenia attaches importance to the continuous development of trade and economic relations with the UAE. At the same time, the Prime Minister emphasized that there is great potential for this and the necessary will to realize it.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the implementation of joint programs in the economic sphere, exchanged views on other topics of mutual interest. The parties emphasized the importance of organizing high-level mutual visits.
In the presence of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the President of the UAE, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Gevorg Papoyan and the Minister of Foreign Trade of the UAE Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi signed the Agreement on Trade in Services and Investments between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the United Arab Emirates.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s working visit to the UAE has ended. The Prime Minister and Mrs. Anna Hakobyan were seen off at the Abu Dhabi airport by the UAE Minister of Foreign Trade.
