One of the partners spoke about the so-called “Zangezur corridor.” Dear colleagues, once again I would like to urge you to read the declaration signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan. This document is public and accessible to all, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, stated addressing those present during a session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
“It is clearly stipulated that the two sides have agreed to open communication links in order to carry out the unblocking of transport routes and to ensure connectivity.
There is a specific provision there regarding the establishment of the ‘TRIPP route’ as well. Therefore, there is no ‘Zangezur corridor’; no such corridor has been agreed upon by the two sides, and accordingly, there are no other arrangements around this non-existent ‘Zangezur corridor.’ There is only the ‘TRIPP Route.’
Please read that document—it is public and clear to everyone, and you will see the precise definitions,” he said.
