Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters that his country is ready for strategic cooperation with the United States.
“They have to decide. Unfortunately, Georgian-American relations shaped by the Biden administration are very complicated. We will see how our relations develop against this background. We are patiently waiting and declaring our readiness for a strategic partnership with the United States,” Kobakhidze said.
Commenting on the upcoming visit of U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance to Azerbaijan and Armenia, the Georgian Prime Minister stated: “As far as we are aware, this visit by the U.S. Vice President concerns the TRIPP transport corridor, and it is logical that the addressees are Azerbaijan and Armenia.”
He also noted that Georgia is also part of the Transcaucasian transport corridor.
