Four Armenian nationals – Gevorg Sujyan, Davit Davtyan, Vigen Euljekjian, and Vagif Khachatryan – have been transferred to Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced in a Facebook post.
According to the prime minister, the individuals were handed over at the Hakari Bridge by representatives of the relevant authorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan to their counterparts from the Republic of Armenia. They are now on Armenian territory.
According to an earlier press release by the National Security Service, the process was carried out as a practical outcome of the peace established between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the Prime Minister, Gevorg Sujyan, Davit Davtyan, and Vigen Euljekjian have no health issues based on preliminary medical examinations, Armenian authorities said.
Vagif Khachatryan’s health condition has been preliminarily assessed as satisfactory.
