On December 4, in Vienna, on the margins of the 32nd OSCE Ministerial Council, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan had a meeting with Dag Hartelius, the State Secretary for Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden.
During the meeting, continuous and effective bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Sweden, as well as within the Nordic-Baltic (NB8) format was touched upon. The parties emphasized the importance of advancing political dialogue and further enhancing ongoing multifaceted collaboration.
Touching upon recent regional developments, Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan stressed the importance of further consolidating the established peace. In this vein, the Deputy Foreign Minister presented the details of the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative of the Government of Armenia and its key component “TRIPP” project.
Views were exchanged on the issues of collaboration between two countries within multilateral formats and international organizations. The Deputy Foreign Minister briefed his counterpart on the priorities of Armenia in hosting the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity in Yerevan in 2026.
