Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan paid tribute in the National Assembly garden to the memory of those killed on October 27, 1999.
Pashinyan was accompanied by Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan and President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan.
As reported earlier, today marks the 26th anniversary of the October 27, 1999 tragedy in the Parliament of Armenia.
As a result of this crime that took place 26 years ago, Parliament Speaker Karen Demirchyan, Prime Minister Vazgen Sargsyan, Deputy Speakers Yuri Bakhshyan and Ruben Miroyan, MPs Armenak Armenakyan, Henrik Abrahamyan, Mikael Kotanyan, and Minister for Operational Issues, who in effect performed the duties of Deputy Prime Minister, Leonard Petrosyan were killed.
