As the Russian Foreign Ministry informed on Monday, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a phone call with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, where they discussed plans for a Putin-Trump summit in Budapest.
"A constructive discussion took place regarding possible concrete steps to implement the understandings reached during the October 16 telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump," Foreign Ministry's statement reads.
