During the meeting with the Ukrainian President, Donald Trump referred to the recent phone conversation with Vladimir Putin, during which the presidents agreed to meet in Hungary in the next 2 weeks.
The head of the White House noted that Volodymyr Zelensky will probably not participate in these negotiations, but he will be in touch with the Ukrainian leader. According to Trump, both Putin and Zelensky want to stop the war.
The US President added that in the phone conversation with Putin he also discussed the conflicts that the American side has stopped. According to Trump, the Kremlin leader described the US president's efforts as "wonderful", also mentioning Armenia.
