U.S. President Donald Trump, in his address to the UN General Assembly, once again recalled the conflicts he claims to have resolved during his second term.
“In just 7 months, I put an end to 7 endless wars… No president, no prime minister, no other country has ever done such a thing, and I did it in only 7 months. That includes Cambodia and Thailand, Kosovo and Serbia, Congo and Rwanda, Pakistan and India, Israel and Iran, Egypt and Ethiopia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. It’s too bad that I had to do this instead of the UN. And sadly, in all cases the UN didn’t even try to help,” Trump declared.
According to the U.S. President, none of the leaders of the countries involved in these conflicts received any proposals from the UN regarding settlement. “Not one of them got a call from the UN offering to help the deal,” he insisted.
