The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump has officially begun. Instead of the previously announced one-on-one format, the talks are being held in a '3+3' format.
Alongside Putin and Trump, participants include Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and President Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff.
Prior to the meeting, the two presidents did not respond to questions from reporters. Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov had earlier said the talks could last five to six hours.
