During a phone call Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko invited President of the United States of America Donald Trump to visit Belarus with his family and the invitation was accepted, the press service of the Belarusian head of state told BelTA.
The leaders of the two countries discussed matters on the bilateral agenda, regional affairs, and the situation in hot spots, including Ukraine.

United States President Donald Trump said Friday on Truth Social that he spoke with Belarusian President Aleksander Lukashenko to thank him for releasing 16 prisoners and to discuss the potential release of another 1,300. Trump added he looks forward to meeting Lukashenko in the future.
The call came as Trump was en route to Alaska for a high-stakes summit with Putin, set for later on Friday at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.
Trump previewed the encounter on Truth Social with the message "HIGH STAKES!!!" The meeting is expected to begin at 11 am local time, followed by a possible joint press conference.
