Iceland also welcomes the initialed peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington.
"Iceland welcomes the important steps taken by Armenia and Azerbaijan to end decades of conflict. We strongly commend both countries and the United States for the historic efforts to secure lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus," Iceland's Foreign Ministry stated on X.
