The fire in Dyuzaghaj, the first Armenian-populated village in Kessab, has been brought under control, reports Zarmik Poghikyan, a correspondent for 'Lurer' in Syria.
Local Armenian youth, cooperating with the Syrian fire and civil defense forces in providing information about the area, jointly pushed back the fire.
At the moment, the fire is not yet completely extinguished, but it is far from the village borders, and its spread has been stopped.
The villagers have resumed their normal activities, harvesting.
The houses and gardens of Dyuzaghaj were not damaged by last night’s fire.
The village did not suffer any human or material losses.
