Georgian businessman Giorgi Ramishvili has been detained under Article 236 of Georgia’s Criminal Code, the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed to GPB First Channel.
Article 236 of the Criminal Code addresses the illegal acquisition, possession, carrying, manufacturing, transportation, shipment, or sale of firearms, combat materials, explosive substances, or explosive devices.
Giorgi Ramishvili, founder of “Silk Road Group,” “Silknet,” “Euronews Georgia,” and other companies, was apprehended today.
