Azerbaijani law enforcers in Baku have detained two Russian journalists - Sputnik Azerbaijan editorial head Igor Kartavykh and editor-in-chief Yevgeny Belousov - on absurd charges, Sputnik news agency reports.
According to local media reports, the agency noted that the employees were given absurd accusations that they were allegedly “FSB agents.”
Russian embassy officials were not allowed to approach journalists. The Sputnik agency is trying to establish contact with its groundlessly detained employees, RIA Novosti reports.
