Iran has never initiated any war to this day and has consistently been a victim of aggression over the past decades. However, in response to aggression, we defend ourselves in a fully legitimate and forceful manner, said Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani during a press conference.
“War has been imposed on Iran, and the country has played no role in starting it. Nevertheless, the Islamic Republic of Iran is firmly determined to defend itself against the aggression of the Zionist regime,” the ambassador stated.
“The Zionist regime is deliberately expanding the scope of its aggression in the region, and this will affect the interests of all countries. The existence of this regime is intertwined with war, aggression, attacks on neighbors, heightened tensions, crises, and regional instability. It sees its very survival in war. For this regime, war is not a means—it is an end,” Sobhani concluded.
