On May 30, the RA NA Vice President Hakob Arshakyan visited the EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan World Exhibition.
The World Exhibition has been held every five years in different cities around the world since 1851. It is one of the most important events of the five-year period, during which the latest achievements in the fields of technology, healthcare, sustainable and self-sufficient economy and urban development are presented.
More than 160 countries are participating in this year’s exhibition.
Hakob Arshakyan toured the pavilion titled Pillars of Today and Tomorrow of Armenia. It presents Armenia’s largest innovative projects, historical and cultural heritage, favorable investment conditions and, of course, future-oriented educational initiatives: Tumo, COAF and Armat.
The pavilion also presents the Government megaprojects, including the Crossroads of Peace, the Dry Port of Gyumri, the Academic City, the Engineering City.
The international network of Tumo is presented in detail, especially the Tumo Gunma Center, which will open in Takasaki, Japan on June 1, as an example of exporting the educational program created in Armenia.
During the exhibition, the latest achievements of humanity in technology, healthcare, economics and other fields are presented. During this exhibition, the telephone, television, CD and other important discoveries were presented for the first time, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Crystal Palace in London, the Atomium in Brussels, etc. were built for the exhibition.
