The city of Goris will host the Armenia-France decentralized cooperation conference on June 2-3, the Armenian Foreign Ministry reports.
Goris was chosen as the venue for the regular, 5th, conference, taking into account the strategic importance of Syunik, the comprehensive and exemplary cooperation between the Syunik region and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France.
Guests will include mayors, regional delegations, parliamentarians, including the chairmen of the Armenia-France friendship groups of the French National Assembly and Senate Laurent Vauquien and Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, and the President of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France Fabrice Pancook.
Representatives of the Armenian Ministries of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the Yerevan Municipality will participate in the conference.
