The 5th Decentralized Cooperation Conference will be held in Goris soon. This is a very important part of our two countries, which preceded diplomatic relations between our two countries. French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot told a joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
"It is also a political sign that it takes place in Syunik, and on this occasion, France will open a consular agency in Goris," he said.
The French Foreign Minister also stressed that since Armenia and France take on a long-term commitment to the partnership, there are several documents in this context that will become the "anchor" of future relations.
