On World Press Freedom Day, we reaffirm the strong commitment to media freedom as an important component for upholding the rights of our citizens, Armenia's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson stated on

"With the same rational, we continue the efforts towards countering disinformation and dealing with the challenges prompted by rapid technological progress.
While we celebrate the fundamental principles of press freedom, notable achievements have been recorded by Armenia, including the advancement by 9 positions to 34th place in RSF inter’s 2025 Press Freedom Index – a clear testament to democratic resilience and reform efforts," Foreign Ministry's statement reads.
