Italian Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani received Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who arrived in Rome to participate in the second round of talks with the US delegation on Tehran's nuclear program.
"Rome is the capital of peace and dialogue. I met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and expressed full support for the nuclear deal talks. The Italian Government hopes that together we can achieve a positive solution to the Middle East problem," Tajani wrote on the X microblog.
Media reports indicate that negotiations between the Iranian and American delegations have started at the Omani diplomatic mission in Rome.
