Attributing importance to addressing humanitarian issues, on June 12, July 3, October 19, November 1 and November 29, 2021, Armenia unilaterally provided Azerbaijan with 972 minefield logs without preconditions, Armenia's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ani Badalyan told 'Lurer'.
"Furthermore, adhering to the principles of cooperation in humanitarian issues, Armenia has compiled new minefield maps through surveys and transferred them to Azerbaijan in early 2024.
Azerbaijan continues to question the accuracy of these maps, despite our repeated statements that there are no “better or more accurate” maps. Armenia, as before, is ready to verify the accuracy of these maps with the involvement of international experts.
Let us add that the International Court of Justice has unequivocally rejected the request for an interim measure against Armenia, by which Azerbaijan accused Armenia of minefields,” he noted.
