Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, on Tuesday received Lithuanian Ambassador Andrius Pulokas, the Office of the Security Council of Armenia reports.
First, the Security Council chief congratulated the newly appointed ambassador on his assumption of office in Armenia, and emphasized the bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Lithuania. The Lithuanian ambassador, in turn, said that he will continue to make all efforts to develop the strong relations between Armenia and Lithuania.
Subsequently, Grigoryan briefed the Lithuanian diplomat on the recent escalation of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and reflected on the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh.
