Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II of the Armenian Apostolic Church offered condolences to the President of Syria Bashar al-Assad on the devastating earthquake.
In the message, Karekin II expressed solace and consolation to the mourning families and wished speedy recovery to those injured.
“Karekin II asked for God’s blessing of the friendly people of Syria, giving them peaceful and safe days,” the Mother See of Holy Etchmiatsin said in a statement.
