US occupation forces have transferred scores of Daesh terrorists detained in the prisons of QSD militia in Qamishli to its base in al-Shadadi, south of Hasaka, as part of its policy to exploit the organization’s terrorists and use them to carry out terrorist acts that serve its schemes in the region, The Frontier Post reports.
Private sources told SANA that two US helicopters designated for transporting soldiers landed at the US occupation base in al-Shadadi city, Hasaka southern countryside, loaded with 60 terrorists of Daesh terrorist organization, who were brought from the so-called Nafker prison in Qamishli city after having anti-Coronavirus vaccines.
The sources added that most of the terrorists who were transferred are from Iraqi, Saudi and Tunisian nationalities, among them, the leader of the so-called “police” in Deir Ezzor, the leader of the “education sector” and “prisons official” in the organization.
A previous group of militants was taken by the Americans to Al-Shaddadi in June from the Es-Sanaviya prison, located in the administrative center of Haseke. In April, at least 70 former IS mercenaries fled Gouveyran prison, which is also controlled by SDF fighters, and were transferred to the pro-Western coalition base in Al Tanf, at the junction of the borders of Syria, Iraq and Jordan.
The SDF, which is supported by the United States, controls the northeastern regions of Syria, where the main oil fields are concentrated. In addition, the province of Haseke is considered the granary of the country. Since 2015, the US command has established nine bases in northeastern Syria, and US troops stationed there are helping the SDF in the fight against the gangs of IS terrorists, which have intensified recently.
Damascus views the US military presence “as an illegal occupation, accompanied by the plunder of natural resources belonging to the Syrian people.”
